Prove the Value of Your Teaching

Reporting student growth in the arts can be a challenge
You know this—arts learning doesn’t fit neatly into grades or test scores, yet parents and other funders often need clarity and reassurance.
SETS gives them clear, meaningful proof—without adding to your workload.
Developed after 20 years of arts programming, SETS is an intuitive system for recording and communicating student progress, both developmentally and artistically.
It helps you reflect what you actually see in students—and share it clearly with parents and other funders. It also helps you identify and develop students’ strengths.
Student Evaluation & Teaching System (SETS)

A clear structure
A short, consistent teacher scale that captures meaningful student evelopment—simply and easily
A sustainable rhythm

You record what you’re already noticing using a concise teacher scale.
Step Two: Track
Each check-in is saved and integrated, so growth becomes visible over time.

Transition Period Subscriptions
SETS is being reintroduced for independent teachers and studios. Currently PC-based, the cloud-based app is in development and will be released by mid-late 2026.
During this transition period, full access is available at a reduced rate. Subscribers joining during the transition period may continue with the PC-based version or move to the cloud-based version when released.
Subscribers receive the complete system and can help shape how it is presented and supported going forward, if desired.
What The Transition Subscription Includes
- Full access to the current PC-based version of SETS
- Use of all core assessment and reporting features
- Priority onboarding and direct support
- Opportunity to provide feedback during cloud development
- Seamless transition to the cloud-based version upon release (planned for Mid- to late-2026)
Transition Period Pricing
Transition Period Annual Rate: $600
Transition pricing is offered to a limited number of individual teaching artists and small studios who want to begin using SETS now as it also becomes available as a cloud-based app. Pricing is $600 annually or $50 per month.
Transition Period Pricing Commitment
Subscribers receive the $600 annual rate ($50/monthly) for the first two years of use, then 65% of the standard annual rate thereafter.
This two-year pricing commitment acknowledges the trust early users bring to SETS as we build a history of use beyond that noted below.
Subscribers always receive clear advance notice of any pricing changes.
Who SETS Is For
SETS is intended for teaching artists and small studios who:
- Work with young people through the arts
- Care about understanding and articulating student development
- Want professional, credible ways to communicate the value of their work
By making student growth visible and documentable, SETS can also support independent teachers who choose to evolve their studios into nonprofit or community-based programs.
This is not a discount program. It is an invitation to participate in the rollout of a tool that proves the value of arts teaching and learning. Although we would appreciate your feedback, it is not required.
